This position is for someone looking to become a team member at a Cremation Memorial manufacturing facility in Santa Barbara CA. We are looking for an experienced glass blower looking to hone their glass working skills in a production setting. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a hot shop setting, a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing equipment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, welcomes new ideas, can take directions from the team leader and who works well with others in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gaffer assist for hand finished work
- Bubble start for standard production (clear + color)
- Gathering for hand-blown production
- Upon request, willing and able to help troubleshoot on all issues of Hot Shop production
- Ability to gather 10-14 block consistently
- Participating in charge schedule
- General hot shop cleaning
- Some data entry required
