At the world-class facilities at the University of Texas at Arlington, conference attendees will have a unique opportunity to enjoy presentations that cover every facet of glassmaking in conversation with other artistic materials like prints and metal. The Arlington-Fort Worth glass community is a tight-knit network of glass organizations dedicated to uplifting each other, promoting all forms of diversity and inclusion, and exploring the latest innovations in glassmaking.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No, you do not need to be a GAS member to attend the conference. However, member passes are exclusively for attendees with active GAS memberships through May 17, 2025. Upon checking in for the conference, if an attendee’s membership has expired or they are not a member, we will assist with renewing their membership or exchanging their pass for a non-member pass. GAS MEMBERS SHOULD NOT PURCHASE ADDITIONAL MEMBER PASSES FOR NON-MEMBERS, as these passes will need to be exchanged at check-in and could delay the conference experience.
Cancellations between November 11, 2024 and March 12, 2025, will be refunded in full (100% of the total paid minus a $50 processing fee). Cancellations between March 13 and April 14, 2025, will be partially refunded (50% of the total paid minus a $50 processing fee). Cancellations April 15, 2025, or later, are not eligible for refunds.

Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 6 or more. Email [email protected] with details about your group including names, email addresses, and registration types to receive a 10% discount on your registration fee. Offer not valid for Early Bird or Work Exchange passes and cannot be combined with other discounts.
Kids ages 12 and under can attend the conference free of charge but must be accompanied by a paid adult attendee at all times. Youth between the ages of 13-18 can join GAS and attend the conference as a student member and pay the regular student registration fee. Due to UTA safety guidelines, all attendees under 18 must have a parent or guardian on site. Special restrictions may apply for events with alcohol. Parents or guardians may be required to sign a liability waiver for the safety of their children. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
