In addition, a recording of the presentation will be available for complimentary viewing on AACG’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@AACGorg).

During the conversation Quagliata will share his journey as an artist, a look inside his studio and technique, his diverse body of work that includes monumental public art installations such as the Taiwan Dome of Light, and his upcoming retrospective exhibition “Archetypes and Visions of Light and Glass” at the Forest Lawn Museum.

Among Quagliata’s many life achievements has been the development of techniques to create fused glass imagery, a process akin to painting.  He has been sharing this new pathway through a series of online masterclasses and is featured in “Holy Frit,” a documentary. His first poetry collection, Mutant: Poems. Sketches. New Works 1968-2018, is available on Amazon and through other booksellers.
