Create one of a kind masterpieces and production work. Are you a hard worker? Are you the one everyone depends on? Are you looking for hot glass employment? Holdman Studios is looking for a glassblower to join our large team of talented artists.

Holdman Studios has been designing and manufacturing art glass since 1988. We have been commissioned world wide to design and create various projects in glass, each unique in its own style and design. Many projects have been done for commercial buildings, private residences, religious institutions and public art projects. These endeavors have ranged in art glass consisting of carved, leaded, hand painted, slumped, fused, and hand blown glass. www.holdmanstudios.com

Job Type: Glass Blower/Teacher

Work Location:
Lehi, Utah 84043 – In person Full-time

Hourly Rate:
$20-$35 depending on level of experience

Expected hours:
40 per week

Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily
*Weekends as needed

Application Question(s):
-How many years of experience do you have with glass and glassblowing?

-Do you have any experience teaching glass blowing classes? If so, how extensive.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of hot glass experience as well as a general knowledge of terms and glass blowing

-Demonstrate experience as a Glassblower/teacher.

-Willingness and ability to work consistently as part of a collective team. Work produced under the Holdman name.

-Strong communication skills and attention to details.

-Off-hand glass production skills are highly valued. Cold work etc.

-Adhere to PPE requirements

-Tolerate exposure to cold or heat, machinery such as furnaces and high levels of noise.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Competence demonstrating/teaching off-hand glass working at the bench.

-Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals and deadlines.

-Collaborate with the team on levels of project needs. From glass blowing to filling out work orders.

-Ability to operate equipment such as furnaces, blowpipes, and annealing kilns.

-Ability to continually bend, stoop, stand, sit, step up, reach and physically lift up to 50lbs throughout a shift.
