Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington
The official conference hotel is the Crowne Plaza Arlington. Book your stay at $140/night with breakfast included. Every room in our conference hotel is a suite that includes a living room and restrooms within the suites are accessible.
Book by April 10th to secure this deal!
Alternative Options
Airbnb is a service that lets property owners rent out their spaces to travelers looking for a place to stay. Travelers can rent a space for multiple people to share, a shared space with private rooms, or the entire property for themselves. Occasionally, these options can be cheaper or more readily available than hotels.
PARKING + TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Parking will be available at UTA, SiNaCa Studios, and the Crowne Plaza Arlington. We highly recommend NOT attempting to park at Grey Area Studios and instead taking the shuttle from UTA to this venue.

Parking permits are required on UTA campus at all times. Follow these steps to register your car for parking on the UTA campus:

- Select permit type “(EVT-COMP) Fac/Staff Surface Lots”

There will be a variety of transportation options available in Arlington-Fort Worth area including:
- We will have a GAS Shuttle that travels in a loop from the Crowne Plaza Arlington to UTA and back to the hotel. Since we will be at different venues on the vast UTA campus, we will also be using their service, the Mav Moover, to travel to our conference locations on campus. There will be a shuttle from the conference hotel to SiNaCa Studios on Tuesday night for all Firestarter ticket holders and a Thursday night shuttle to SiNaCa for the Fort Worth gallery hop (available as a $10 add-on at registration.). Friday evening, the shuttle will add a stop to Grey Area 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after programming there. Our daily shuttle will also make a stop in downtown Arlington on request before stopping at the hotel. For our Closing Night Party on Saturday, we will have a shuttle running to and from the Arlington Museum of Art and the conference hotel.
- The Mav Moover, UTA’s shuttle service that runs throughout the UTA campus. We will have a special GAS route and schedule–details will be shared as we get closer to the conference.
- Uber, Lyft, and incredibly affordable local ridesharing options! You can use Ride Trinity Metro in Fort Worth for $2 per ride within their service area. Check out their website for further information.
