Visit the Glass Art Society table at SOFA Chicago !!!

Every fall Chicago, IL hosts the critically acclaimed Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair more commonly known as SOFA.  The 18th annual SOFA Chicago will be held November 4-6, 2011 at Navy Pier's Festival Hall where masterworks from top international galleries and dealers from numerous countries will exhibit.An opening night preview will be held Thursday, November 3.

In addition to the main gallery installations there is a Resource Center.  This is an area where participating not-for-profits have a table where they provide information about their organization.  Visit the Glass Art Society Resource Center table to receive membership information, look at print outs of our online newsletter GASnews, pick up the pre-conference brochure for the 2012 Toledo, OH conference and browse sample past years Journals. 


The Glass Art Society table in the Resource Center is always located in close proximity to other glass related organizations such as GLASS Quarterly magazine, the International Society of Glass Beadmakers and the Corning Museum of Glass's Hot Glass Roadshow unit which offers glassblowing demonstrations for visitors with narration describing the tools and process.

For those wishing to join or renew their membership with the Glass Art Society, special membership discounts are offered. Available only to those who join/renew on site.

2011 General Admission Hours (subject to change)

VOLUNTEER for the Glass Art Society table in the resource center! Current Members are able to sign up for a 1.5 hour volunteer slot in exchange for a one day complimentary admission ticket to SOFA. Only 10 tickets available. Please email for more information.
